Anne-Marie ConcepcionChristine, why not look at the Properties of the button you have that does what you want …? I’ll bet there is a simple Javascript in there you can copy/paste.

Anne-Marie ConcepcionHi Kathryn, thanks for the kind comments.
A nav TOC cannot contain images, only text. Part of the EPUB specification.
Your HTML TOC, should you decide to include one, can contain images.

Anne-Marie ConcepcionRight, it’s new SuperGuide we just published, and is a free download that ends today for new subscribers (Premium membership) in response to an email blast we sent out. It’ll be available for purchase by anyone in our Shop soon, with a member discount price for Premium members.
Anne-Marie ConcepcionI would recommend 8 GB of RAM and a fairly zippy processor, since opening up these files over the network takes more heavy lifting than opening Word files.
Working remotely, the editor would need to either dial in via VPN (and again, work off the server … no copying to local and uploading after) or use Dropbox, which lets them work locally in a local shared/synch Dropbox folder.

Anne-Marie ConcepcionTurn off the Adjust Layout checkbox in Layout > Margins and Columns before changing the margins and columns; it’s on by default. Is that what you’re asking?
Anne-Marie Concepcionfor the titles that aren’t coming in, I would go to their location in the doc, click inside the title, apply Basic Paragraph, then reapply the style, and try again.

Anne-Marie Concepcionstrange! Wondering if it’d work okay if you exported to EPUB 3.01.
Anne-Marie ConcepcionI completely agree, Tim. I think the InDesign team has taken their eye off the ball of EPUB and is spending resources elsewhere.
Vote on my bug report!

Anne-Marie ConcepcionThis is an obnoxious BUG in InDesign CC 2018. It has to do with choosing CSS Size set to Relative in the EPUB Export Options dialog box. If you choose Fixed, the “position: absolute” attribute isn’t written, and the validation warning goes away.
I haven’t tested, but I’m thinking you could find/change that attribute in the CSS to fix it after the fact.
